2025 GTCL Team Cup

Where: Annex Chess Club, 918 Bathurst St., Toronto

When: December 1, 2025, 7:00 p.m.

Format:

Five-round rapid team tournament.

Teams of five players (four plus alternate.)

Teams must have a team captain and register players in a set board order according

to rating.

Teams must have a minimum of three players (in which case the fourth board is a

forfeit loss each round.)

Individuals may register and will be placed on teams with available space.

Time Control: 15m + 5s increment from move 1.

Sections: Championship and U1800, based on average team rating

Rating: CFC quick-rated.

Byes: None.

CFC: Current CFC membership, or payment for CFC tournament rating, is required.

Cost:

$10 per player. $5 for ACC members.

Free entry to GM/WGM/IM/WIM.

Discounted ACC membership available with purchase.

Refunds: No refunds.

Prize Fund: Trophies and an assortment of gift cards for each section’s winning team, best junior,

senior and women’s team.

Amenities: All equipment provided. Skittles room and waiting area.

Water, coffee and tea provided at no cost.

Operator: Annex Chess Club, on behalf of the Greater Toronto Chess League.
